The History of Advertising Trust announces new website
The History of Advertising Trust is a partner organisation with the Museum of Brands and we are pleased to announce that they have a new website full of fantastic resources. www.hatads.org.uk
Their new website is kindly supported by ITV and British Arrows the new website presents a cleaner, more attractive design, providing an engaging, visual, user experience with enhanced navigation and functionality throughout.
Designed by Itineris the website has been developed in consultation with industry users to provide a specification that meets the needs of HAT’s service users and industry researchers and features the latest technology compatible with today’s browsers and mobile devices.
Visitors to the site can access an extensive online catalogue of UK advertising including the fabulous British Arrows Awards Archive of commercials from 1976-2013 (the last three years of winning films are always held on the British Arrows website). This excellent resource showcases thousands of winners and entries to the Awards over the last 40 years.The website offers free viewing, complete with a searchable database of many of those involved in producing award winning commercials in the UK since 1976.

Visitors will also have access to ITV Media, the commercial arm of the UK's largest commercial broadcaster and the home of brands for the past 60 years.

Content updates to these online collections will be made regularly, as well as uploading completely new archive collections that will be highlighted in forthcoming HAT newsletters. The website also provides details of the wide range of research and brand management services that HAT uniquely offers to the advertising and communications sector in addition to accessible e-learning resources and content rich galleries spanning two centuries telling the stories of brands and the ideas that led to their development. The website encourages users to share comment and content across social media forums.
