Museum of Brands gains sponsorship from world famous easyGroup

 

The Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising has gained sponsorship from easyGroup to  widen understanding of the world famous “easy” mark and brand values. The Museum will inform and help highlight the growing problem of brand theft, faced by many leading UK companies.
easyGroup, the brand protection and promotion company, is headed by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, who launched his UK business career with the budget airline easyJet back in 1995. He has extended the brand into car rental, airport transfers and personal fitness as well as coffee shops, estate agency and hotels - all carrying the eponymous “easy” name.

Sir Stelios said:

“With easyJet approaching its 21st birthday, the time is now right to document the history and background of this popular mark. I can think of no better way to do this than through backing the Museum of Brands, which already has an unrivalled reputation for showcasing some of the best brand creators this country has to offer such as Cadbury, Unilever and Diageo. We are proud to join their ranks.”

The Museum will open the easyGroup display in 2017, showcasing the fascinating story of the company’s development since 1995.
