Jeremy Lindley, Global Design Director at Diageo, will delve into Semiotics, Image Interpretation and Heuristics in design.  Jeremy will explore how an understanding of perception, emotional connection and implicit response helps designers push creativity further.  You’ll be surprised to learn how often we see what we want to see rather than what is actually there!

About the Speaker

Jeremy worked as a Designer for 10 years before deciding to lead Design in organisations, he wanted a bigger impact than working project by project.  Jeremy is responsible for Design across Diageo’s current brands and new products worldwide.  Diageo is the world’s leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits and beer.

Jeremy is a TEDx and Cannes Lions speaker, a visiting Lecturer at INSEEC Business School and frequently keynotes international Design and Marketing conferences.  He is a Board Director of the Design Business Association and member of the Design Commission, advising the UK government on design policy.
